Brief introduction of CALOHEA:
CALOHEA Project (Measuring and Comparing Achievements of Learning Outcomes in Higher Education in Asia) aims at contributing to the internationalization of higher education through the development of essential measures to promote the recognition of degrees between universities. The research focuses on internationalization and develops interrelated measures in three Key Recognition Mechanisms: Regional Subject-specific Qualifications & Assessment Reference Frameworks, Student Workload Measurement, and Authentic Assessment.
CALOHEA Project is coordinated by the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, with the regional coordination of the ASEAN University Network organization (AUN) and joined by 25 Universities in Southeast Asia and 04 Universities in Europe divided into 03 Subject Area Groups: Engineering, Medicine, and Teacher Training. The project has been operated for 3 years, starting in 2021, and extended until June 2024, through 07 general conferences, and national meetings in different countries.
Nong Lam University of HCMC has joined the project as a member of the Teacher Education Group. The project tasks have been assigned to a team (namely CALOHEA – NLU Team) selected from Faculty of Foreign Languages and Technical Education and International Relations office, who scheduled the Workshop as follows.
OBJECTIVES OF THE WORKSHOP:
The workshop is be held in with 3 aims:
1. Report of the project results.
2. Application of the results in adapting the PLOs of English studies program
3. Recommendations for adding more indicators of authentic assessment and student Workload measurement in regular surveys.

PARTICIPANTS:
The workshop is presided by the President, and joined by staff from Academic Affairs Office, Quality Management Office, International Cooperations Office, and lecturers of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Technical Education.
