Training Programme
FFL-TE currently recruits 180-200 students, once in every school year, for two undergraduate programmes in English Language Studies and Technical Education. The yearly enrollment number is allotted to FFL-FE by NLU and approved by the Ministry of Education and Training. To graduate and be conferred with a bachelor’s degree, a student is required to achieve the minimum of 136 credits, regularly completed in 4 years. Brief information about FFL-TE two training programmes/majors as follows:
(1) English Language Studies (ELS):
This is a full-time programme providing students with fundamental and specialised knowledge of English-American linguistics, culture, civilization and literature. Students are also equipped with necessary skills such as critical thinking, effective communication, work organization, business correspondence, time management, etc. Students of ELS can moderate their study plan into one of the two concentrations in English Teaching and English for Management.
(2) Technical Education (TE):
This is a full-time programme providing students with fundamental and specialised knowledge on technology, agricultural science, teaching methodology, educational psychology and curriculum development. After graduation, students have solid knowledge of the basic principles of agricultural, forestry and fishery production processes. In addition, graduates are capable of applying the knowledge of psychology, education, teaching methodology, economics, business, management in technical education at high schools and vocational schools.
